1) Biggles Sausages of Marylebone. The greatest sausages to ever grace the face of this planet.
2) Sausage rolls are only any good in two places in the UK - Canham’s of Hove and Harrods (my favourite shop).
3) Find a decent pub, something with character, a good crowd and a decent playlist.
4) Cornwall.
5) Holkham Beech, Norfolk.
6) The British Museum (often overlooked).
7) Tate Modern (and spend time in the Rothko Four Seasons room - people go through it far too quickly, it’s a meditative experience even if Rothko basically painted them to piss the client off).
8) Everything else will probably be so expensive as to require you to take out another mortgage, so just hang out with friends and enjoy.
9) Don’t worry about an umbrella - unless visiting Manchester, it rains 300 days of the year which is why everyone stays at the pub.
